Vendaxa: Forgotten Forest

Hello everyone!
As some of my XFire friends may know, I have been working on this project for some time. I am quite happy with how it looks so far, so I thought it was time for a W.I.P topic to be posted.
So, without further ado, here is some information on the mod:
- Story: You are an Imperial trooper. You have been sent to Vendaxa to purge it of some Rebels which appear to be searching for something on this planet. However, you can't just walk in and shoot 'em up - you need to watch out for all the inhabitants of the planet first...
- Progress:
- Modes:
- Conquest (CW & [possibly] GCW)
- 2 Flag CTF (CW, renamed to "Order 66")
- Hunt (CW)
- Assault (GCW, used as the Campaign)
- Screenshots:
And that's all for now. Any comments or feedback?
P.S: If the images are too small, just post here and I'll post them in hi-res format.

That looks great.

In my opinion its to dark and I would add some other types of foliage.
Good map!

Thanks both of you!
@Cookie: It's just Xfire that makes it look too dark. When you play it ingame, it isn't too dark at all.

A bit too dark, add some small lightspots, like in the second screenshot. Gotta be the most visually pleasing SWBF2 map I have seen in years.

@Philomen: Thanks, glad you like it.
@DarthD.U.C.K.: Thanks again, would you mind doing another test when the map is closer to completion?
@YouJediJunkie: Thank you very much! And, there are three "camps" around the map, and all have fires.

I really like the little huts ... are those in the normal assets cause I don't think I've ever seen them like that

and if its a reskin ... WAY TO GO !!!
Oh and will there be a moon of any kind or something to cast a little light ?

The first time I heard about Vendaxa was yesterday, when Fluffy_the_ic suggested it as a name for a Dark Space map, and now here is an actual Vendaxa map, what a coincidence.
In the campaign, will the player have something other than just his blaster rifle? Any interesting weapon, gadgets?
The screenshots give a good impression of the map.

Not a coincidence lol. I guess the timing is; I've known about this map since before I started Kothlis. So technically he gave me the idea.
Looks nice, ultimat! Don't forget the acklays!

I'm sure those huts are from squeddie's model pack, correct me if I'm wrong (anyone).

Dark forests can be found in the real world.

It has been in production for far longer than you'd think.

@Everyone:Thanks again! I'll get some updates up A.S.A.P.
@Sky: Yes, they are the endor huts, just in the .msh.option file I did the -scale 2.0 thing.
EDIT:
AQT wrote:Looks great! Will this map feature Acklays of any sort?
Yup, Acklays feature in the Campaign, but I'm not sure if they should be in normal Conquest. Any thoughts?
Nihillo wrote:

If you want to think of any weapon ideas, that would be great! Just make sure they can be made!
