your Sniper is no match for a halfway decent darkie.
Of course a really good player can use any class to beat any other unit type

if the sniper is any good at all he will just get out in the open and wait for the dark trooper to jump, then just hit him outta the air.

If we continue this theortical crap we'll get this topic locked. Let's face it, there are some scenarios where the sniper is better than the dark trooper and some where it might be best to have a dark trooper. There is no definitive "one is better than the other..."

Not if the dark trooper is too fast for him and moves away.
