Thanks for all the info Gynt Ryles. If you don't mind I've shared this info on gamespot.com and galacticsenate.com. I have given you full credit for the knowledge too. Everyone on the boards appreciates it.

Wow! Thanks a lot MasterKyobi9d9(jdilrd323)! That's exactly what I wanted. I've posted this all over LA, but few people actually care.

That's the interview where I saw the Tug-of-War gametype. They didn't go into any detail about it, though. However, it's a juicey interview anyway, so it's a good read.

MasterKyobi9d9(jdilrd323), do you think you could post a link to the forum on Gamespot? I can't find it. I would like to see people's reactions.

Desann, I didn't see Tug-of-War mentioned anywhere.

P.S. Why do you keep changing your avatar?

In addition, each map will have a variety of additional game modes for Instant Action and multiplayer, like Hunt, Catpure the Flag, and Tug-of-War. Designers are carefully choosing the game modes that are the best suited to each of the maps.

There ya go.

PS- I probably won't be changing this avatar for a while. I really like it. What could be better than GIR slapping his butt?

Tug-of-war ? What do you think about that ? (Ideas, possible principles, etc...)

Ok, I've made some major updates. The colors and dates got confusing, so I ditched them.

I just got Chain Isle. I hope the Bothan Spy stays the same for SWBF2. He's awesome! The remote det-packs are the Slave 1's devastating Seismic Charges! It's really fun to wear the disguise, walk into a group of stormtroopers, plant a bomb, walk out, detonate, and watch a few troopers fly through the air riding a shockwave! 8) :D

Desann, your link did something wacky. The first time I clicked on it, it took me to a diferent page that didn't have a mention of new game modes. I just clicked on it now and it's a different page. :?: I'm going back now to add them in.

Have you seen the Imperial Probe Droid ? :)

Yes. One time I planted a bomb and blew it, three stomtroopers, a Probot, a Dark Trooper, and Shock Trooper, went flying through the air in a sphere of blue. Chain Isle is now my favorite map.

6 units destroyed by only one sonic charge ?!... :D
Impressive !...

PS : What do you think about the ProBot ? (Behavior, credibility, etc...)

Probot is pretty accurate, and annoying.

I think I might have beat my record. About 15 units came up a small ramp at once, so I planted a charge, and sent about seven or so stormtroopers and dark troopers flying.

I'm downloading Chain Isle now... :D (For the ProBot, sonic charges, bothans and others)

It has some cool stuff deleted from Geonosis (vents and little spires), as well as some really cool prop AT-ATs. I made some good screenshots of the Seismic Charge, which I'll post when I get an account at Photobucket.

Could you post screen-shots of AT-AT's new props and ProBot too, please ?

Now, or when I get an account? Psych0fred didn't make any direct screenies.
Image
This pic has a good shot of the initial explosion of the Seismic Charge, the AT-AT props, and even a Bothan. There's also an upright AT-AT. I don't know why the pics have water in them, because the map doesn't have any. I guess the pics are from a different version.

Fred made a new unit: Admiral Thrawn. He's based upon the Imperial Officer. There's a shot of the upright AT-AT.

Regarding your own screen-shots, take your time, I'm not in a hurry...
