Disappearing bridge on Death Star from assets

Oh, hai forum.

Hey, uh, I was trying to piece together the Death Star map from the assets (the Edit a Shipped Map tutorial) and I realized that for some reason, the asset version of the stock Death Star map has an issue with collision in the superlaser room (bots would walk through and start shooting through the walls at me). I fixed that by adding some invisible collision props. For some reason, though, now this happens:

Basically, this bridge is only visible through doorways. Invisible when on it or in the room, invisible from on the other side of a doorway - only visible while standing in the doorway. It's still there - it still has collision and all - but it's troublesome. This only seems to have happened when I added the invisible collision to fix the issue with the superlaser room.

Any ideas?

the images arent visible, it seems like you cant hotlink facebook images here.
in xsi the bridge looks normal enough. Do you have a lot of objects in your map? when there are too many polygons at once in the area you are looking at swbf2 hides some starting with the smallest objects.

you are right :-O after disabling adblock i can see them now aswell.

Alright. How would I go about solving this without getting rid of the collision for the superlaser room's ramp? (I've only added invisible collision objects there and made no other changes to the map object-wise).

you could try importing the bridge in xsi, ading a lowtez model and reexport it. then it might just switch to the lowrez model instead of disappearing.
