I thought it consists of water and rocks.

Empire at War says Naboo's core is a massive honeycomb structure filled with water.

Doesn't Qui-gon travel through Naboo's core? Seems that he'd have a harder time if it was composed of plasma rather than water/rocks.

To end the argument about the core of Naboo, yes, Naboo's Core is made of plasma, a substance exported by the people of Naboo, its actually Naboo's main export. To say that Qui-gon, Obi-wan and Jar-Jar went through the actually core is a little false, lets put it this way, the Gungans think they are traveling through the core in the ocean, but in truth they are right outside the core. There is a catacomb of tunnels that run along the outside of the core, and fissures in the rock allow the plasma to seep into the water.
Hope this explains this.

Did anyone else just lose the Game?
Fun fact: Boba Fett didn't actually do anything in the Original Trilogy except for shooting his gun a couple times (and missing), looking awesome, and falling into the sarlacc pit.
His entire fanbase (along with the entire Mandalorian fanbase) came to be simply because Boba Fett looked BA and had a jetpack.

I figured it came from Jango Fett.

Yeah, and thats pretty much the exact reason I hate Boba Fett, and his "dad". And the Mandalorians, for the most part. TCW Mandalorians are ok (prepares for imminent attack from Mandalorian Purists).
Windows from the movie Fanboys wrote:You guys have got to stop saying that Boba Fett is some kind of Bad#&%. He has a Jet Pack, so did the Rocketeer. And when it came to a fight it was all style no substance.

Mandos and their "culture" were around way before Episode II, actually
