Wooah, what a change. I guess all the terrain of the original would easily fit in this single screen. Impressive, most impressive.

But there're two issues: The red areas on the ground look unnatural...there's no lava nearby, so why should they be red?
-and-
In my memory, the Turbo tank was way longer...but let's concern this issue again once I've seen it from a troopers perspective.

Its the same turbo tank, so there's no size change.

I'm using my old sides from the previous version. I may tweak them a bit but the skins will remain mostly unchanged.

Maybe there's magma under the ground?
Come on, use your imagination!

I think you should stick in the juggernaut more pluss add more crashed debree around. Maybe reskin the juggernaut a little bit to make it look more damaged. I could do that for you.

Wow, looks good. Good to see a lava/fire-based map...

...Hmm, I don't know how to word this. But, I've had this random idea in my head, that involves replacing ordinary foliage textures with textures from Fett's flamethrower and adding the -vertexlighting to the .tgas, then placing this "fire-foliage" somewhere in beyond the boundaries so it looks like theres fire on the ground. Not sure if it would look authentic, nor would you, the modder, be willing to test out this random idea, but I thought I would share it anyway...

What a pity rocky ground isn't translucent.

As to Food_Eater's idea: A logical explanation for these flames out of the ground could be natural gasoline, so that problem's solved. I'd recommend that you highlight the gas outlets by placing them either in little puddles of lava and/or on miniature volcanoes.

This is a "volcanic Planet" I presume and the magma is under the ground. Remember, magma is thousands of degress celsius

That was kind of mean.

If magma is near the surface, then it could heat the rock on the surface enough to glow.

I'll be adding some lava rivers, so that may help in the explanation of the glowing red ground. (actually, its the fog)

glowing red ground. If you think about it that sounds kind of funny. anywAys, it is a pretty big revision. Wish you good luck maul!
