Re: wierd munge error
Because I haven't made the mistake in years I've only a vague memory of it, but that looks like the error you get when you try to munge a targa that has RLE compression enabled. Open it in GIMP, hit Save As, and uncheck the RLE Compression box. You have to do this for every single time you save a texture.

yes that's it, I remember doing it with all the other textures, but 'cause I changed this one a bit I guess I forgot to do that.Because I haven't made the mistake in years I've only a vague memory of it, but that looks like the error you get when you try to munge a targa that has RLE compression enabled. no the req should be fine, I just copied and pasted the one from the stock sides. I am running a clean to see if that's going to fix it.
Edit: yep that fixed it, thanks Wulfman.
Thanks Deviss

Have some simular problems when saving with Photoshop elements, too. Open with paint.net and save and it works. Also the alpha chanel thing depense on the software you use. Pse: corrects the transparent parts with black, paint.net: shows it transparent. Haven't found out how to show it tramsparent in pse
