This may sound noobish, but I can't seem to get skins to work ingame for the life of me. I've tried several tutorials, but to no avail. What I need is someone willing to provide an understandable guide to getting skins ingame (even the most basic parts). I'll post screenies and the skin that won't work soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated

.
Edit: Anyone?

Please resize your avatar. They need to be 150wide by 200tall or smaller.

When saving the texture, (I'm assuming your using gimp.) uncheck RLE Compression.

Is that checked by default? Because I never checked anything.

It is checked by default. When you save your .tgas (you might have to do a "save as" to get it to work) you need to uncheck "RLE compression" and "target in bottom left corner" (or something along those lines, if your version of GIMP has it.)
It could also be a problem with editing your .msh file. What is your skin's filename?

I am editing the Rebublic and the Empire-I'm having a problem with the Basic Clone Trooper (I think it's called rep_inf_ep3trooper).
Edit: Problem solved-I just unchecked the 2 options in GIMP 2. Here are the links to the skins, BTW (they aren't very good, this is my first time modding)-just in case you want to see them. They are for my clan, [-ESC-].
