Pathing Help

1.Ok, so I have created a nice map using Kashyyyk Huts, one with a base in, and a bridge across a river, where there is a command post, so presumably, there will be a battle across the bridge.
Only problem is, the troops run into the river, get stuck in the huts, get stuck behind trees and bamboo and other stuff like that. How do i path these troops so that there IS a battle across the bridge, and that they go out of the huts when they have captured cp's, and set up sniper posts etc, etc. I coudn't find anything suitable in the FAQ :(.
2. In my map, both teams start with one base, near the edge of the map. The problem here is, very few troops spawn from here at the beginning, and I have tried putting in maybe 20 spawn points, but stil only about 10 - 12 troops spawn.
Help me with these please!!

Look up in the ZE guide in the documentation, about AI Planning, Barriers, and Hint Nodes.

You may want to increase unit count, look for topics of that nature. You change unit count in the mission LUA (for example, you would want to change the unit count of each team to 32). You may also want to enable uber mode or something (there is a tutorial for that).

Thanks, I'll take a look at that tutorial. Sorry I have so many errors, but this is my first map, so I have a lot of problems. I think it's beginning to come together now though!
