Id like to see a new X-Wing or TIE Fighter game, or remake of the old games.

BF3 would be awesome too.

As for Jedi Knight... I see TFU as some sort of Jedi Knight, but I dont think there will be a new TFU game.

i dont hope there will be a new tfu, you can do this once but nihillo is right "more" force would be just comical
after watching the teaser id wonder if it was another tcw-game, it only contains footage of tfu,bf:elite squadron and tor, they dont really fit to tcw
i hope its imperial commando (since there is already a novel and a playable imperial commando in tfu) or battlefront 3

I hope its a good game because they havent released a good Star Wars game for ages and my 360 game shelf feels incomplete without one

There were rumors of an RC2, but apparently it got cancelled (assuming it existed in the first place). BF3 has pretty much become Elite Squadron, and TFU's "sequel" was the Ultimate Sith Edition. Since TCW TV series is airing now, and it seems to be the main focus of LucasFilms and LucasArts, the new game must therefore either be Clone Wars related, or, if that's not the case, an entirely new series of games.

One thing is for certain, if LA is showing it's first appearance at the VGA, then it must mean they feel it is a really great game.

isn't that only according to karen traviss' novels? those are pretty much entirely non-canon, her RC books. so yes, a RC2 could happen, but it's big money that it won't.

Unfortunately, it is canon. Really bad canon. Also, there's not enough info for us to guess for sure that it's RC2. All's we know is that it's a new SW game. That's the only fact we have. Plus, it might even be an entirely new game series for all we know.

Plenty of LA games are already on Xfire, and they stopped publicly announcing games becoming available on Steam and just started putting them on Steam. Er, I'm not that big a fan of the RC series, but from what I've read they could have been better (like seriously, if you think RC is the best series you clearly haven't read Timothy Zahn or R.A. Salvatore).

iv atually read them all and rading the new imperial commando book as well. I read them page to page and loved every second.

I was thinking mabey it isnt any of these and a complete new series

1.) There are other books not about star wars, and no, you haven't read every book.

By looking at the teaser trailer, you don't get much info on what type of game it might be. There are a lot of closeups.

But, you can see what characters are present. One I saw of note is pilot luke with a lightsaber. I don't play many other Star Wars games than SWBF, so tell me, are there any other Star Wars games that have pilot luke with a light saber other than SWBF?

There is one in TFU's downloadable content. (you fight against him)

Yeah, I just watched again. Those are the clips and named games. So giving us still no information on which era or genre of gaming. Which is smart, but LA could have given us a very small thing to go off of. But we'll see. Only like 12 more days.

Obviously, I'm hoping its swbf3. We know a lot of the content is still intact so it would be a good bet. I doubt it will be a TFU sequel considering how poorly the franchise started off. And I wouldn't think its any sort of RC or Commando game. Lucasarts kind of just quite paying attention to it, even letting the website go down. If they had been planning on a sequel, they would have at least maintained the site in the hopes of preserving some interest for a sequel.

The other possibilities I see are a new KOTOR or a completely new series.

It could be another TCW spin-off considering the Lucasfilm and Lucasarts have been riding that wave lately.

personally i am hoping for an rpg cross-over, a mixture between something like TFU and KOTOR set in the EU post-ROTJ.
