Is it possible to unmunge a map? [No]

hello, i wanna edit a map for better gameplay, but the map is not a stockmap, it is an addon. so i cant copy the world.lvl into my map. is there an app or something to unmunge to get the world.lvl?

Taking someone else's map and editing it? You would have to get their permission first, it's their mod, you can't "unmunge things, you must get the assets from them so you can munge it and work on it yourself"

well i got a map from a friend and he wanted me to make it better. i would never do that without permission. but there really is no way to do that?

He needs to send you the data file, not the munged lvl file.

To expand on what ARCTroopaNata is saying, you need to have the data_ABC folder to edit a map. There is no other way to easily edit prop placement, lighting, sides etc.

Long story short: You can't revert things to an editable state once munged. If you want to edit the map you need the original source files used from the author.
