Change Objects

Hi evrybody,
is it possible to change the size,shape,struce,etc. of objects in the modtools?. E.g. i'd like to make a second hangar in the stardestroyer.To do this i actually would just have to make something like a hole in its wall. Is this possible?

Allow me to direct you to our
3D Modeling Forum. You don't "paint" objects in ZE, you place them. As a result objects' sizes and shapes are more-or-less immutable.

so it isn't possible tomake changes like the one i suggested in the post?
I find it kind a strange because what i'm trying to do is way less complocated i think than e.g. to make new animations and stuff like that.

It is possible, but not in Zeroeditor. You'd just have to use Modtools etc. to edit the shipped model to make an other hole.

yeah well i never meant with zero edito. i meant e.g with XSI.
ok well since it is really only this point for which i need XSI or so , could someone give me a really quick tut on how to do the change i suggested?

you export the models msh with repsharpshooters meshtool to obj, then import it into xsi, reapply the textures, edit it and reexport it with repsharpshooters meshex (you will have to reapply the envmap and detailflag to capitalships)
you can find tutorials to various steps here on gt
(all in all its pretty complex for somebody who isnt familar with the most steps)
