WIP Version 4.0 (Improved/added maps)

I've thought about this for a long time, and since it's time to rescedule my life (basicly), modding will be of a lower priority in the future. This is even better for the community, since I'll do some requests maybe and help others/friends with some things they need, or I'll stop modding at all. To come to my point, as the topicname says, the upcoming release will be the last one. No more releases of BF0 after that, and there MIGHT be a patch but only if it's FULL of bugs which I don't expect really. Some things the upcoming version will include:
EOTB: GALACTIC CIVIL WAR ERA
Basicly most added content for the next release, all from Envoy of the Beginning. Will be added to most (if not all) maps which are included in 3.0, and in the new maps too I guess.
MYGEETO MAP BY SKYHAMMER
If he can complete it, there's no rush for this or something, but it would ofcourse be a great addition
NULLCOMMANDO'S MAPS
Sure he'll give you more info on these sometime
ENDOR; BASE MAP
Completely moddeled interior map, GCW only
NEW JEDI BUSSINESS MISSION
Not sure on what map yet, possibly on Mustafar; Platforms, or the new Mygeeto.
MSWF'S ZERO SQUAD
He is redoing this mode/campaign-like, this is also extra and it would be nice but can't promise it to you.
I've always enjoyed working on this mod and I'm sure my future mods will include content from BF0, which is basicly unavoidable since it's 90% of what I've ever modded.

It's a shame that you won't be modding as often. I've always looked forward to your releases. BF0 has been in my addon since its first release, and I'm eagerly awaiting the final one. Well, good luck with your "rescheduled" life, MandeRek

. Even if modding will be a lower priority, I expect it will still be awesome when you do!

If you want a jedi buisness mission for Mygeeto it'll be easy enough to add some extra, more linear areas to the map that won't be used in conquest. Possibly a platforming section across a cliff face and/or more tunnels. Anyway will have screens up in next fortnight, hopefully.

Hm....I believe that a while back mswf was interested in a map layout I designed, something that he though would be good for Zero Squad, and now maybe Jedi Business, if he's still interested in doing that, I'd be happy to stop being lazy about it and start working on it more, or if you want to see my layout idea and maybe use it yourself, just lemme know.
Unfortunately, I'm sorta dead in the water till Thursday/Fridayish, its finals week and I really need to study, but anytime after that would work for me.

Glad to see that one final version of BF0 will come out. It's only sad that MandeRek wont be modding much. Good luck in the real world!
Btw, are the floating objects ever gonna get fixed?

I've said that so much I can just copy past by now. The floating objects are mostly in worlds where I've lost the assets from. So no, most floating items/props won't be fixed, only Dantooine, and Boz Pity might make a restart.
Hope it's clear. I even had a topic explaining I lost all assets (including the old heroes, wherefrom the assets won't be released, obviously, since I lost them.):

Some times i think that swbf 2 had absolutly no action or history all their was were order 66 and gcw.
Then all of a sudden u start to make swbf 0. this had some action and some behined the story history. Now, the maps are great but maybe u should include more than one map from like each planet. It's just a suggestion I don't expect to have this use but hey it would be nice.

Thanks all for the kind remarks. I felt quite quilty leaving the old content untouched for the next release, and while adding in GCW vehicles I decided to 'change' some things. This is the first map to start with, especially environment has been changed to give it a more
'graveyard-ruines-planet''y feeling!

I've already seen those in the media section and they look awesome. A lot better than the previous on even though I'm not saying YankFan's version wasn't bad.
