next version is supposed to be fully compatible with the Conversion Pack
you have to back the addme.script file from
- "bfxfolder"\GameData\Addon\BF1 folder to play BFX
- "gamefolder"\GameData\Addon\BF1 folder to restore the Convo Pack
if you dont play the kotor era anyway, you can just install BFX and download Space Endor from SWBFFiles, so only Endar Spire wont be available for you
or you can wait for the final version of BFX

I just fixed the mysterious Naboo CW crashing! Yay! Turns out I pasted a piece of code in the wrong place. Now to sort through the other scripts and make sure I didn't make the same mistake anywhere else...
I also changed the saber texture on the default lightsaber model. Actually looks pretty decent:

WOAZ! That pwnz! and that defult saber texture sucked..... its a wonder its not a new model.

actually, i think the textures are not that good, they are too bright and the lightsabers look more like baseball bats than swords
still its your mod

I'm pretty sure he reskinned the hilt, not the blade, if that's what you thought he was talking about.

aww... but whats wrong with the sabers then, where they always like that?
EDIT: nevermind, i just checked out mos eisley assault and the sabers (especially green and blue) look like that, however they look much better on darker maps

If you're going to bother changing the texture, you might as well change the model, since saber models are so easy to do.
Broken_hope's saber pack has a lot, and just for grins I spent an hour or so and threw together a couple as well (and I would recommend trying some yourself - the models are so small that they're great starter models):

I've used broken_hope's sabers everywhere where possible, this is just for the backhand, left-hand, and Grievous sabers.

All those sabers are just rotations of regular sabers. It's a ten-minute job if you just ask.

2.1 does not work with the 2.0 conversion pack (in my view) because it stoped my swbf2 from working

i had to reinstall and reinstall the 1.1 patch and conversion pack so this makes me look forward to the 2.2 even more :clone:
