Episode 1: Could have started in Episode II and would barely miss a beat, only good part of it was the action scenes, the final battle was done very nicely.
Episode 2: Watch the first 10 minutes, mostly fast-forward through the time between the ship explosion and then continue to watch the battle of Geonosis.
Episode 3: Certainly the best of the prequels, like it almost as much as some of the ones in the Original Trilogy, first Star Wars movie I ever saw, duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin was probably best part of the prequels.

Duel between Obi-wan and Vader in ep4 takes the cake. But I did like Duel of the Fates music in ep1.

Yeah it was the most intense thing I have ever seen

Actually, I was serious there - I much preferred that kind of slow, tense action to super kung-fu panda.

Luke versus Vader in RotJ is my personal favorite. The Obi-Vader fight is too slow for me. But I've seen an edited version by Adywan that really improved it.

Oh. Sorry.

I thought you were joking.

More like emotional and suspenseful (the OT duels) to fake flashiness (ep3) I think.

I agree that the prequel duels seemed flashy, especially compared with the suspense of the original duels. As for the rest of the 3D prequels? It doesn't affect me, as I likely wasn't going to see them anyway. I don't like paying to watch a movie I already own on DVD.

They are postponing them, not canceling. They will probably make them after episode 7.
As for lightsaber duels I think slow and suspensful is good but, flashiness is to. It needs to be more of a mix of the two would be the best. None of them are really perfect. The closest is Obi-wan vs Anikan, and Darth Vader vs luke.

Well, if they cancel them, I might be one of the few really saddened by this fact. I am looking forward to seeing them, actually. Saw Episode I, was not really impressed, but that's OK, I knew that Episode 2 and 3 had much more to show. Not to speak of the original trilogy in 3D. Oh, man, AT-ATs in 3D, would love that!
As for the prequels, I love them. I wonder why people always complain about the prequels being flawed when the original trilogy was flawed as well. Yeah, Anakin was a whining little punk - but so was Luke. And, in all honesty, I can't stand the Ewoks, while the whole Jar-Jar thing just irritates me. At least the Gungans are fully sentient specie that can handle 'modern' technology and does not defeat the best of the best in the Galaxy - just some cheap droid army.
But, yeah, one thing from the prequels I hated young Anakin and the whole pointless podracing sequence. Boy, minor quests in World of Warcraft tell a story much more deserving to be filmed that THAT trash.

I would also be saddened.
