Since ordnances can't have child ordnances, I would assume all he's doing is using a deployable and having it fire ordnances. I won't speak for how reliable that is.

Ahh... I see. I imagine that if you set the OptimalRange, LockOnRange and MaxRange to something huge, and set it to target everything, it probably would work nicely.

Ooo. maybe this is too advanced for BF2 (I've been Source modding all day

) but what if you made it so you couldn't go through the shield, but the owner could activate it / deactivate it like a personal shield.

@Mav: it's 100% reliable, provided the turret limit for a map hasn't been reached (in which case it won't fire). Cluster bomb blows up at exactly 1.2 seconds after being thrown. Launches ordnances a fraction of a second early, giving the illusion of a grenade blowing up and the explosion launching clusters.
@ARC: that's how I tried to do it before, and it doesn't work too well. But with a few lines of odf code from something in the BF1 assets it works perfectly.
@Taivyx: nice model.
@Fingerfood - meh, good idea. Would need a flat shield model though. Bubble shield you can't get in/out of would be pretty pointless.

Sounds good. I've had little luckw ith getting my model skinned, and progress was going slow, so sorry bout that. If you'd like the model when it's done, feel free to ask.
and thanks for the shield, btw. That'll fit in nicely with my map

I'm liking this. But, I have a question:
Can you change the .msh of the Cluster Bomb, so that it looks more 'bomb' like? Sorry if that question is not really worded properly.
