I have been testing this map and I must say, it's AWESOME! I never played the original version, but I would count this among my favourite mod maps for Battlefront 2.

As far as bugs, I've only found one so far (and you may have corrected it already.) There were a couple of floating bushes here.

You've done a great job at converting this map! Keep it up! :D

dude this level PWN's!!!!!!!!! I used to own as a sniper on this level right by the center bridge, OOOO Yah. dude squipple your awsome for converting all these old classics to SWBF2.

Makes it interesting to fight while the sun's in your eyes :)
Final should be ready this week some time. Seems the more it gets played the more floating items that get found. :P

Hey cool, I like the planet Dantooine since I played it on KotOR and RoE2. This map feels like a real battle because the factions start off from opposing directions and try to strategically cross a bridge to take a command post. Oh, and I like the difficulty of the AI (I kept getting shot by a bunch of SBDs).
The only thing I wish this map could include are kathhounds. But even without it, I will still be playing this for a long time to come, and I look forward to classic conquest as with the conversion of Italia to BF2

I think the problem with all kinds of four-legged creatures is that we don't got a properly animated model for it - if we had one, there would dogs, cats, anything in the maps. But since we don't got one...

What's RoE?

Yeah, it is kinda plain. I think it was one of Eddie's firsts. I still had fun playing it in BF1 because of the battle on the bridge. But that's when you could throw orbital strikes out there and clear the whole bridge when it got packed. It's a whole new ballgame with the new modes and heroes/villains. Still a great map for a round of "hide and snipe".

Anyway, Tean got me classic, so this map should be released this evening sometime, along with kastel.

I loved this map in Bf1. Sure, its simple, but it seems the simple ones are always the best.
