None of my friends know ethier. But I'm really deep into the series but due to financial situations i can't buy more books But i think fighting the vong would be fun. With Jaina, Luke, Mara, or Jacen as a hero.

The Vuuzhang vong had come very close to taking control of the whole galaxy, if it werent for some very arrogant & stupid dissisions on their part they probably would have (i'm looking at you jedi obsessed Tsavong Lah!)

If Anakin Solo had not sacrificed himself to destroy the jedi killin beasts (cant remember names at the minute) clone cells the jedi would now be extinct.

So many lucky things pushed themselves for the New republic/galactic federation in that war it is amazing, like the Shamed ones rebellion for example, if they had not rebelled the galactic federation would not have recaptured corusant & won the war...
but not before corusant was turned into a nature world, Diet Dr. Pepper YOOOU VONG!!!

eh...i read all the books so it s'ok

one BIG thing you'd have to consider is how are you going to arm these guy's... you CANNOT give them blasters... they never used them (well cept Nom Anar...but he's a diff story) you'd have to mod in Thud bugs, Raxor Beattles, Amphastafs (bot h the rigid and whip forms) ... remember that... and also that jedi can do jack to them.... neither can blasters... you'd have to up the HP SIGNIFICANTLY!! to make it acurate...

also...what about vehacles?... you'd need some pics of their vehicales to inorder to mod them into the game...

yeah vong think it is dishonourable to fight mainly at range, for the thud bugs u would have to just change the look and power of a thrown lightsaber so it comes back to the warrior.

Vehicles however, we have to pretty much imagine, i would expect some sort of giant insectiod monstonsity in generally the tank shape.

I've read Vector Prime, which was okay. The rest of my knowledge of the Yuuzhan Vong came from reading the Star Wars Fact Files.

They sound like an interesting species, and it would be pretty fun to play as their various units with their unique weapons.
They arn't my favourite bit of starwars lore, but then again, they're certainly not my least either...

or corusant after it was terraformed vong style, or ithor, one of the major ground battles happens there (including jedi) & corusant in the middle of the last battle against the vong after the world brain has had its way with the landscape

Aye a terraformed Coruscant would be amazing... although I've yet to see a proper normal Coruscant map done for BF1 so far. Coruscant Streets and Palpantines apartment weren't bad, but the lighting and texture work was a little sub par. Although I speak out of ignorance, since I know little of mapping for BF, which must be much harder than it is for Jedi Academy, considering the comparison of quality (on the whole).

But then again, I've only seent he stuff posted on BattleFront Files.

(minor spoilers, no real plot related ones tho, just technology)

another major ground battle to do would be dantooine...and the mykyr worldship would be sweet. a level with a yammosk would be pretty cool, it could be similar to the rancor or sarlacc from bf1. (ok, 1 minor, vague plot spoiler here) and although i dont think any major land battles were fought on it, we'd definitely need a zonoma sekot ground level, just for coolness.

for vehicles, how about the firebreathers and rakamats? they also had riding lizards which could be used in place of speeder bikes.

for weapons, amphistaffs obviously, based on lightsabers. it might be tricky to do the whip form. backup weapons could include coufees, tsaisi (i think thats how you spell it, the baton-of-rank-amphistaff thing), and venom spitted from the amphistaffs. alternate weapons include thud bugs, razor bugs, explo sive bugs, firejellies, blorash jelly.

voxyn would make a sweet second unique unit (in addition to the slayers), or at the very least "natives" to hunt.

if possible, turrets should be replaced by volcano canno ns. additionally, we'd have to think of something to do about the health/amm. droids, cuz obviously vong wouldn't really want to be healed by a droid, and they wouldn't take stuff from a droid even if it carried bugs with it.

oh, i thought of something we could do for bom bers - instead of making grutchins the interceptors, simply make a larger coralskipper variation that launches grutchins as its boms. then make the slayer skips the interceptors, and we're set for space.

try doing a search on swagonline.net for yuuzhan vong, or just vong, or anything vong related really. its a bunch of sw rpg fan art, but its useful. there are also a couple of officialish looking pictures around, try a google image search.
