This bounty hunter's pistol looks a lot like
Rianna Saren's (yet another bounty hunter).

I actually, despite doubts, want to say its Boba. The character in the image that has been released, from what I can see, somewhat resembles Daniel Logan (
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Daniel_Logan), who is supposedly going to play Boba in the new live-action TV show. If the OP prediction is right, then this makes complete sense.

I see it being a twist or small/early twist in the game. WHOA I"M BOBA. Like WHOA I"M RAVEN. I remember Rianna, she was the star of the DS game. I think it faired ok. Be cool if she was a cameo, if that works. I don't remember which era she's in.

Anyone want a hi-res version of the art?

Heh. I'm guessing the blaster is of BlasTech design. I most look forward to not the character, but the setting. I hope you can fight for both the Empire and the Rebels, I want to be a bounty hunter who fights for money not a particular side.
Offtopic: I like Rianna Saren. She's going to be in my Battlefront 3 mod, and probably my Shattered Mirror mod.

Ah 10PM EST. I need to remember that. G4, Spike, and what ever other streams are out there. So MUCH COVERAGE. I hope my DVR can handle it.

By the way, I firmly believe the title refers to its release date. 1/3/13. Just throwing that out there.

Star Wars: 1313 Gameplay - E3 2012
According to Dominic Robilliard, (creative director) 1313 refers to the level where the game is set.

1313 had absolutely incredible visuals tonight. Literally CG level. Holy moly.
This game is undoubtedly aimed at high-end pc's and next gen consoles. There is no way they can back-port that to current gen consoles. Looks great. So hyped!

Alternatively,
1/13/13
2/13/13
3/13/13
4/13/13
5/13/13
6/13/13
7/13/13
8/13/13
9/13/13
10/13/13
11/13/13
12/13/13
But that's only using the American dating system

Heh. You beat me to posting that. And yes, I know it refers to the level on Coruscant, but still. Of all the numbers they chose, it was 1313? And next year is 2013? No way that is a coincidence.
I do like the idea of a rated M Star Wars game, I just hope it is more than just blood and guts for that M. How about some swearing and fortification too! Whooo! Yeha!
I'm not even kidding!
No really! I am not joking. I want my M games to be more than
just blood and guts. Horrible brutal visceral violent carnage is completely fine, just as long they don't show a boob. Thank you society, for keeping your priorities in check.

I'm highly impressed graphically by 1313 and I liked how Dom said that it was running on a high end PC with nvidia. Indirectly confirming PC edition and makes me wonder what the consoles will get graphically.
I need to see more than just 30 second clips of gameplay and not in a burning ship. haha. I am pumped, but not at the levels of excitement I want to be about it yet. Time will get me psyched.

Thanks for the link, it looks much more awesome in HD.
Is it just me, or does his laser beam look less like blaster fire and more like Phaser fire? (Star Trek)

Actually, it looks like he has a
disruptor pistol. Laser beam weapons like that have been in Star Wars games for like, a decade at least. So no, you're right, he isn't carrying a blaster pistol.
Not, that I have a problem with Star Trek actually. Like most people on these forums probably do.

I am in complete concurrence with the wolfy dude.
Not sure whether I should be excited for the game though since it sounds like it will be M instead of T, and I'd prefer T.

Totally with you there. I never understood why a Star Wars game would need an M rating anyway..
@WULF: Thanks for filling me in.

Well it is shooting/high violence. Just because there's little/no blood involved doesn't really make a difference in my opinion - you're still killing people.

They won't go into Fallout 3 levels of violence, I imagine we will get a slightly grittier, slightly bloodier, slightly more swearier and slightly boobier game, which makes it overall darker. I don't have a problem with that. This is the very first M rated Star Wars game, they won't want to go too extreme.
And Cerfon, Star Wars weapons can pretty much look like anything and everything. There is no specific rulebook for what a disruptor pistol should look like.
