302nd Conversion First Full Version RELEASED!

This is a beta that basically changes the textures to a clone legion that I made up. I also changed the weapon layouts so that the battles look more like they're being fought by elite troopers. Here are some screenies.

*Edit* Okay I re-reskinned every clone trooper skin I could find with my new Adobe Photoshop (very nice) and I edited some ODFs so that magnaguard has a sniper rifle etc. I also made the clone commander's chain gun have no over heating and he too has a sniper rifle. I am also thinking of changing the name clone commander to clone commando, but I am not sure how. I have given the CIS and Republic pilots shotguns instead of commando pistols. The Republic sniper now also has a blaster rifle. Most droids now come with a wrist blaster. At this point I have no new screenies.

Okay guys I was planning on releasing some maps along with the conversion but I'm not very good at maps. So now I'm recruiting. If you want to join just post and tell me how many maps you've released along with their ratings and you might be recruited. You can also just PM me.


Update
The name of the legion of CIS is called the CIS Elite Guard. They come with their own special skins. I'm working on getting it so that the chain gun doesn't overheat but has ammo. I am also wondering how to localize sides in the shipped game, I have some theories but I'm not sure. Please keep watching :thumbs: NEW SCREENIES!!

We have the "Hide" tags for that reason. See how well they hide stuff? Just put them around your pictures to save quit a bit of space.


As for the sides mod, looks ok/so-so. The commander looks....strange. Doesn't really fit the orange/white color scheme of the others. But then, does purple really do better?

Well, let's think, yes.

As for the other troopers, they look fairly done. Not too bad at all; but the streaks seem a bit....fuzzy. Almost as if someone snuck up on the troopers at night with a spray-can....

Sorry =P i attacked them =P

looks fairly decent man..... but fiodis is right the streaks do look a bit fuzzy....... unless there a new breed of half furby half clone trooper that have colorful and fuzzy hair =P which would be pretty sweet if you ask me lol.

other than that pretty cool =D :thumbs:

I'm glad you've put my help to good use. I like the AT-TE, but on a Felucia-style map. It doesn't seem to fit with the bright-yellow Geonosis ground.

Just as a comment, this mod is NOT dead. It is still alive and well, I just needed a little break from BF2 to gather some ideas. So keep on coming to this topic if you care. Tell all your friends! I intend for this to be a big mod. I hope you will enjoy it once I finally finish it :D By the way, I am still recruiting people to help, so if you want to help keep this mod alive, PM me and you could possibly be recruited.

Hello, since there hasn't been an update in a long time I figured I should make a new post so people can actually see the mod. Okay, so here is how YOU can help. There are TWO ways.

1. Tell all of your friends with SWBF2 to come on down and talk about it and say what they think so the mod can get hosted! (eventually)

2. You can also help by joining the team and making the game that much better.

So are you guys up for the challenge or what?

I could be wrong here, but you'll need to put in alot more effort for it to be hosted.

And keep in mind that a mod won't be hosted by GT just because it's good. It has to actually be large enough to warrant it's own forum. There's no reason for the staff to create a new forum if it will only have one thread in it, or maybe two or three threads with just a few posts each.
