im havin trouble usin gimp myself.... go to swbf2 modding-skinning problem, its by me, im tryin to get help here.

When you go to save a skin in GIMP, click save as, even if your not making a new file. Save as the old files name and uncheck RLE compression when the box comes up

when you save your tga click save as and when you save there should be a box that comes up and has 2 spots with check marks unclick those.
