Cant open sonic blaster effect [Solved]

when i try to open the sonic blaster effects in PE it crashes, its just with the sonic blaster effects
could someone else try to open it, and help me?

A lot of the particle effects with actual meshes (sonic blaster, geonosian wings, droideka shield) don't open/crash in Particle Editor. Just edit them manually, especially if all you're doing is a color change.

but i cant find a tga of the sonic rings... unless "geonosian blastballs" is the skin

When you try to load an fx file in PE that is linked to a msh without having the munged msh in the "Munged" folder residing with PE then it will crash.
To load this particular fx file without crashing go to:
BF2_ModTools\assets\sides
and copy the "geo" folder to:
data_ABC\Sides
then just munge that side, select "geo" in the "Sides" drop down list and uncheck "Common" for a speedy munge.
When its done munging go to:
data_ABC\_BUILD\Sides\GEO\MUNGED\PC
then copy:
geo_blast_ring.model
geo_blast_ring.model.req
geo_blastballs.texture
to your "Munged" folder that resides with PE then load the fx file.
