end_prop_tree02.odf leaf texture problem

I've posted about this before but we managed to find no solution. This problem also has been reported by numerous different members of this forums. Still, no way out of it is known.
I am using the Endor pine trees in my map, all four of them. I've copied every single asset needed--including textures, yes, to the proper directories. When I place the trees in ZE, they show up properly, including the leaves.
However, once I munge the map and start the game, the leaves of end_prop_tree02 are all black. The leaves of the other trees (end_prop_tree01.odf/end_prop_tree03.odf/end_prop_tree04.odf) show up correctly. All trees use the same texture for leaves, so I have no idea what's wrong.
AFAIK, this problem also occurs with some other leafed tree assets.
Could it be the msh model? If so, could somebody check it? I am no modeller myself.
