ah yes there are some yavin tower turrets in there which i don't think you can see in there, and like i said, there will be particle cannon turrets for the cis, to counter the at-te. i'm trying to reduce lag after my last map, so no much more foliage. like i said, there will be more ruins, and bigger ones

. im currently working on the clones, and the b-1 battle droid will have it's own class

Alright, but what about my first question?
Have u ever considered putting in starfighters? Like for the Republic there could be LAAT\i and ARC 170s with the CIS, vulture starfighters and that CIS troop transport (forgot the exact name).

sorry, i must have missed that. the posts were coming in quite fast. no starfighters, they woudn't be able to get a clear shot on the units, but i was considering an LAAT/c. sorry about that

UPDATE --
ok, I'm now about 75% on the republic, and there's lots more ruins, waterfalls, cover, bunkers, vehicles, battle etc...
here are some shots. the republic skins are so far done by me, and now are ingame (!!), the at-te is a no-spawn one, because otherwise, it becomes a complete mosh in the center of the map, i'm also planning to re-skin that aswell.
here are some shots:

New Clone troopers (simple but effective):
The AT-TE (soon to be re-skinned):
the b-1 has it's own class

for the droids, not sure if you can see it in the pics, and the super battle droid has boosted power and replaces the magna guard. apart from that, the droids remain unchanged... for now!

side question: i would like to add campaign to this map, but i think i need a patch for the mod tools, if so, where can i get it, and of course some tut's?

That waterfall pic is gorgeous! If there was a like button on GT, then I would hit it.
Any custom classes? Like some clones have both a DC-15 and sniper rifle or a green Clone Assassin.

It looks nice, but it's hard to tell a whole lot since that's just one single stock model (textures don't even look changed). Not to say there's nothing to be shown, but just showing a picture of that doesn't show much of the map - it just shows us that the devs made a nice-looking waterfall model. (In fact it clashes badly with the Tatooine canyon wall right beside it; at least one of those two need to have changed textures.)

actually that picture was intended to show just the waterfall, pointless if you like, i just though it looked nice. i'll try a more far out shot if you want...
well i have to say i've been working hard with gimp to try and do some nice new textures on the objects, but i'm not very good at texturing objects and so on. here are some pics of the updated map:
the wookiees built a cheiftan's hut inside an ancient stone circle (this will be important in the campaign):
more ruins, lots of undergrowth:
far shot of the waterfall, you can also see the bunker:
crashed republic gunship, you can also see the hut in the background:
glamour shot of the sky and ruins:
t's sorta hard to sort the clash out, because the canyon walls are retextured, but the lighting on that paticular map shows them as exactly the yellowish that i think look slightly odd. they are in fact a greyish brown, and go nice with the waterfall on a rainy or sunny sky. i'm retexturing the waterfall right now, actually, to fit with any canyon. sides will have 7 characters per team, plus one hero each. i'm hoping to do a campaign, maybe not first release, but a simple one perhaps.
random skies tutorial can be found through the "search" button

. it's somewhere in the modding, maybe page 2 or 3, might be still on page one, i haven't checked for a bit. i will upload pictures of my new clone engineer skin in a few minutes!
EDIT: there's quite a lot of pictures on this page, so i've posted him on the glamour skins topic.
--for the campaign, where can i download this 1.3 patch that helps me make them? and does it come with tutorials?

It comes with the Convo Pack. If you don't have the convo pack, then search SWBF files.

ok, sorry i've been so late, i've been away on holiday for the past week, and haven't been able to do anything. i have managed to complete the sides, and i just need a few tweaks to the map. i think you can gather enough from the numerous screens i've posted already, but here are one or two more.
i'm not sure if anyone would like to beta-test this map, but if you would, feel free to sign up, it would be very helpful so i can improve this map. pm's would go out in 2-3 days, maybe less.
