Coruscant: Order 66 v 1.1 *New Version - April 1 4:30*

This is a recreation of the Jedi Temple map, only with new and improved
gamemodes:
Endurance (desguised as Conquest - I couldn't get the name to change)
-Single Player
-A lone Jedi vs 150 clone troopers
-Defend your command post without dying against waves of 20 troops!
-Great way to hone your Jedi skills
Hunt (clone wars era)
-Jedi vs Clones
-300 point limit
-Jedi very much outnumbered
-Cloaked Anakin as the Republic's Hero!
-Jedi with 2 sabers as the Jedi's hero
New Team Endurance! (also disguised, but this time as GCW Hunt mode)
-Multiplayer capable
-64 clones vs. any number of human Jedi
-No boundaries
-Play as your favorite Jedi hero threatened by clones in
the movie
-6 deaths on the Jedi team will be a victory for the clones
-300 kills for the Jedi to win
Bug fixes/changes:
-Endurance mode now contains the player with the use of
invisible collision barriers instead of damage regions!
-You now have to defend your command post from being captured
in Endurance mode, as losing it will defeat you instantly
-Added another selectable Jedi class in Endurance mode (for a
different combo style and attacks that I find easier to handle)
-New team endurance mode (requested by many)
-Hunt mode balancing tweaked - Jedi at a big disadvantage
-More jedi on the field on hunt, but more points per kill
for the clones
-Hunt mode score limit decreased to 300 (goes fast)
-Hunt mode Jedi hero changed to one without force powers

Wow, I beat Team Endurance all on my own SP as Yoda. Killed 300, didn't die once. Great map!

Nice but solo endurance could use a little work. For instance could you make the CP's Uncaptureable? Ill be out there hacking clones than ill lose my cp and lose.

Well, that's the thing - if I don't have it capturable, the AI doesn't focus on you as much, only on the command post. So if you dodge them right, the majority of them will just clump around the command post forever (until you get close), while you can just keep picking off the strays. It's a really slow way to do it, but I suppose it would be pretty boring.
I could give you a defeat timer, so that you have time to return to the command post, or I could just make them uncapturable (and therefore have the AI behave stupidly and allow cheating). Which do you all prefer (doesn't matter to me)?

Version 1.1 fixes:
-You do not lose if you control no command posts in Endurance
-Jedi hero is now playable (I mispelled it in the LUA)

Rofl, what a great day to announce a new release.
It'd be sweet if you could have this overwrite the original map.
But downloading anyways. Endurance sounds sweet.

Great tweaks love it. I was just playing SP Endurance mode and usually I kill about 50 clones before I die. This time though I just went straight to their CP and won without killing a single soul

lol. Well, I guess I'll give up on trying to prevent cheating in this level. Ah, well. If you want a challenge, stand your ground at your command post! If not, then what the hell. Glad u like tho

Ok heres what i think: Awesome idea but i think you should leave the other pathways open, for example to the left and right from the Jedis CP, the library, (Just open the whole temple) than it will be more realistic as they will all spread out throughout the temple trying to hunt you down, that would make it more enjoyable, also make the cp's uncaptureable so people like Mike951 *laughs* cant cheat. (Im guilty of that too.)

Then I would have to add a whole lot more bots to the field, and change the entire game mechanic. The behavior of the bots would change as well - they're a bit stupider when not in Conquest mode (they sometimes wait several seconds before firing, etc). That's why Wadi was able to beat Team End. with only one life by himself. Basically, it wouldn't be as hard, or as satisfying as conquest mode. But, if you want me to change it, I will. By the way, any feedback on the other two gamemodes?

Yeah i was just playing it and i decided its fine that way,because
I KILLED 114 OF THEM!!
Than i got to cocky and ran into a large group and was assasinated.......the poor jedi protector probably had alot of holes in him...

For the republic version of team endurance (one with jedi master as hero) the jedi always seem to loose, mabe you could give them more health? Or if possible it would be cool if you could give all jedi (not just hero) the herso health bar (the lightsaber) and make the non-heros decrease faster, than you couldn't hide and kill straglers and it would balance things out (if you are a good jedi)

as for the other team endurance i havn't had a chance to play it yet ive been to addicted to the others (mostly solo), this truly is a great map.

I just noticed that the other hunt is another solo mode, awesome!!
With my health idea earlier if you do use it only use it on the team endurance
(i got my 114 kills in the conquest version)

As far as the hunt mode (yes, Clone Wars Hunt is actually a Hunt mode), it is supposed to be stacked against the Jedi. I mean, it is Order 66. Besides, two human Jedi can turn the whole game around because of the nature of the Jedi's mass - mob - murdering abilities (or perhaps one really, really good player). The Hero makes it so that one can easily catch up to the other team's score (2 sabers = crowd pwnage big time). As far as Team Endurance (Galactic Civil War Hunt), that is meant for any number of human Jedi vs. all those clones. It's not necessarily for one player (though some find it even more fun than Endurance). Glad u like, I was really dissapointed with the shipped map; this is what I think should have been included (SOME Jedi vs. Clones action, at least Hunt mode!).

Can you do this same thing to other maps? I cant stop playing your map, the jedi vs clones is a blast. I'd have to agree with you lucasarts should of made some jedi vs. clones action, one level this could also be great on is Mageeto, or felucia (where Alyra Sceura and akimundi were killed due to order 66)
