Battle Over Naboo

BATTLE OVER NABOO

Who can forget this scene from Episode I. It's going to be a basic remake of it and I will be adding destroyable part to the Fed Core although I am having a problem with the collsion since I scaled up the MSH. Also my Naboo Starfighter will be in it! I would love to make it all shiny but of course the Edit Flag script isn't working apparently.

Will definetly add custom SFX for the N1, still up in the air if there will be custom music. (I like some of the shipped Space music) :D Enjoy!

you could've just asked Fred for the N1 he has from BF1 instead of going through all that trouble :|

I cant wait for it though :D

True, but I enjoyed modeling it and who knows how long it would of taking to get Fred's.

Plus you can't edit Fred's, I am think of making one of the Naboo Police starfighters (the blue ones) which I can easily make off this N1. :wink:

Anyways, you really need it to look shiny. At least the texture :? Also I think the model should be a little bit "roundier" and PLEASE! take the nebulas out of space <_>

yes indeed it was, but it's always fun with some new models, even if it wasn't there in the movie, it might be fun when thinking "this could've happened"
i'm wondering if anyone could carve out the core ship model and add a hangar, that would be fun, anyway i'm looking forward to this one.
the republic cap ship could be removed and been replaced with a planet, like spwn i the hangar, take of, fight and return, ask 11of3 if you could copy that idea, he was the first guy in my book that showed it of, or maybe i'm just not so good in discovering things...

If you remember, on battle over Naboo, Naboo Defence Force had only N1 Starfighters. TF had only Droid Starfighters too. Imho, Only-starfighters-battle is the best idea.

don't you think the artoo's raised a bit too high off the top of the fighter? it makes it look sort of like those old locomotives. Plus u should totally add high unit couunt cuz in the battle of naboo there was a ton of droid starfighters. A ton.

i agree, the astromech seems a little too elevated. otherwise, nice work, nice screens!

I am going to try my best to fix the texure but without the script who knows.

The whole R2 issue isn't that bad. *Points to other screens from other games.* If I increase the tilt it should look a lot better, it just looks like R2 is to high becuase your looking at it from a different angle then you usally see it. Even the screens below are angled a little.

quistion, are you going to use only the non-painted vulture droids, or also those droid bombers in the game battle of naboo? would be fun cause it doesn't have to be the same AND maybe there were Naboo Bombers and trade federation droid bombers(NOT GRIEVOUS BOMBER) in the game, you just didn't saw them.

UPDATES:

Ok, got green lasers and got them shooting out of the right place on the N1. Plus brought in the old Droid Fighter skin.(Episode I)

Alls thats left till beta:

Fix Fedcore skin (make it grey instead of blue)
Fix N1 chunks/collision
Fix Hangar situation.(If some one can tell me how to make a flyer spline then I will make a hangar in the Fed core ship.)
Fix odds and ends of the N1
Have some sort of planning.(Hope someone call tell me flyer splines, there isn't a button in Zero Editor? :? )
