Unusual ZE Problem

I have a very unusual problem concerning Zero Editor that I haven't seen any solutions for. Whenever I open it, the editor loads properly, but then I can't do anything except move the camera around with the arrow keys. The map texture isn't there (If it should be). When I move the mouse over something to click, it reacts to the cursor like it should, but when I click it, nothing happens. This means I can't do anything, therefore, I can't make mods.
Any help would be appreciated.
(I am on Windows 7 Ultimate x86, if that makes a difference)

Did you load a .wld file after Zero Editor started up? Are you familiar with the key commands the program uses? You should probably read the Getting_Started.doc and ZeroEdit_guide.doc included with the mod tools before you do anything.

Creating maps, which is what Zero Editor is used for, is only one aspect of modding SWBF2.

I quite honestly think you're not loading the *.wld file. Check out Fierfek's tutorial, it'll help you.
HOWEVER, I'm experiencing a similar problem sometimes. When I load the *.wld file, everything hides, and all I can do is move the camera around. I fix it by restarting the editor.

1. Make
maps, (Sorry about that)
2. In previous experiences, loading a .wld file works, but I can't do that, as the selection doesn't work. Restarting the editor hasn't worked either, though.
3. The poll was just there for no reason.
EDIT: The same thing happens for BF1 ZE, so maybe it's my computer...
EDIT2: Turns out, it
was my computer. I use a virtual machine on a mac and used to use Parallels Desktop, which is when ZE wouldn't work. I switched to VMware Fusion, and it worked.

So for those of you who use a VM on a mac and want to use ZE, use VMware Fusion.
