Set up questions

alright, i decided to make a map either where its an arena or a path you have to go through (most likely arena) and i needed to know how i would get certain ai to spawn at certain times and also if i would just set units to 0 on the team i don't want ai to spawn on. i wanted there to be different units, weak swarmers, strong bosses, mega units and others but i wouldn't know where to start on getting the luas and other do-dads to actually get certain units to spawn at certain places at certain times.

simply its like a wave mode: units every few seconds/minutes, different enemies at different times, etc.
Hidden/Spoiler:
note: if i do make this map a path map i'll have cps as locations that you need to go and i would have 10 different levels of units ranging from level one being a guy with a pistol to level ten being a super commando. i would place the cps in places where you would capture them but have to battle enemies first and then you would most likely unlock the next level. i think i got these ideas from playing too many adventure games.

Also, this topic about the Dark Times wave mode might be able to help you.
