It actually looked more similar to Jabiim, but it wasn't that either. It was most likely Bomis Korri IV.

But, anyways...I agree with TrainMaster. I love the new Jetpack effect.

BFX is one of the BEST mods for Star Wars Battlefront II ever created! Thanks to this mod, I am finally playing Instant Action conquest with most of the shipped maps for the first time. (Yes, I am serious.)

I am looking forward to the final version. Thank you ARC_Commander.

can you make the stormtrooper rifle shooting single powerful and accurate bolts like it is in the movie (something like Imperial Base beta), because it is very hard to hit the enemy after 2 or 3 shots

Four things:
1.Many of the new heros, even though they pwn :) , have no names (the sith on the CIS on Naboo, the Shock Trooper Hero on the DS CW, and others)
2.Hitting F4(get in) or F5(get out) inside a Droid Traction Tank (the Droid tank that has droids riding on it) results in a CTD (crash to Desktop)
3.The scorch marks are great, but I wish that they either could be made perminant or, at least, their dissapearing time could be extended

Oh, and here's what Cody's jets should look like
How do you make them look like this if they dont???? For me they appear as this bluish purple plasma stuff with SQUARES around it. Wierd......Anyway this Mod actualy brought some enjoyment into playing shipped maps :bowdown: ....I love the scorch marks, :) although, as stated above,I wish that they lasted longer!!! :thumbs:

I can't do the names, they conflict with Conversion Pack - compatibility with it is a major part of this mod.

Making the scorch marks last longer would result in lag, and it would look strange to see scorchmarks floating in the air after a turret or vehicle has been destroyed.

EDIT: And guess what? I fixed the MagnaGuard crashing! Yay! That's one huge problem eliminated.

Oh, I've also decided to bring back the space transports for CW. I'll take out the Jedi Starfighter - it's really too fast to be of any particular use - and replace it with the V-19 Torrent. The Jedi Starfighter will still be present in the ALT.LVL, though. The V-Wing will be the interceptor. And the Geonosian Fighter has no exhaust hardpoints, so it looks kinda makeshift. I'll put back the HMP Gunship, too. And I'll probably slow down the CIS fighters, they're way too fast to be playable.

Youre right, Convo. Pack compatibility is much more important than names.
I'm glad you've fixed the magnaguard crashing as well! I also agree that the stormtrooper rifle would be better if it fired like it did in the movies!
One thing I forgot to meition in the prev. post is that Obi-Wan's hair on Kamino doesn't look too great from the front. By the way, the ARC Troopers on Kamino are probably the best thing in this entire mod. They pwn(although 4 ARCS are supposed to equal 50 regular troopers...)!!!! :thumbs:
EDIT:I also forgot to say that when you change the Rep hero's weapon on the DS, you cant change it back.

EDIT#2: I am now rather annoied about something I just found out - that attempting to play ANY map online now results in a CTD. I hope that this can be fixed, or I will be forced to unstall this mod, something that I REALLY, REALLY dont want to do!

EDIT#3: Kamino CW crashed to desktop when I used the ARC Commander's orbital strike. I had used it several times before and it worked fine, somaybe it was a one time thing...

Keep up the good work, and please, please try to make it so we con play reg. multiplayer maps online as well as your awesome mod singleplayer without having to switch files around every time!!!!!! :thumbs:

Ya umm the tie bomber was hard u need 2 people ant the ai is always off

At Darth_Cow, it doesn't work online because it is a side mod. You might be able to host a BFX server, but it won't work normally. Also, I love the stormtroopers gun...almost impossible to hit with it, just like in the movies! :]

Yeah, that's why the Imperial rifle shoots so fast. It's movie-like, and also happens to be pretty fun when you're in the corridors of the Death Star.

You would think that the Emps could afford better weapons, seeing as they control the entire galaxy......Anyway, I figgured out how to get aroung the "not working online problem."
I still would like to know if anyone has come up with a solution to the Cody's/jet droid's jetpack problem, and I would like to thank ARC_Commander for all the work he has done to make BFII a lot more fun! :thumbs:

Unfortunately, online compatibility has to be traded for pure awesomeness singleplayer. Yeah, all the weapon fire rates, damage tweaks, and different weapons make the game incompatible for online play.

Heres a strategy, hit the rebel with stun, sprint up to him, and fill him up with LAZERZ!!11

yes i know, but it becomes difficult when you face more than one enemy (i guess that if you shoot between the targets your chanses to hit them are bigger :) )

Anyway, I'm not sure if I said it yet, but if you try putting a turret in front of the firing port in the geonosian outpost building, the gun goes through the ground but you can still go underground to use it.
