Weird Water script problem! Please help?

Post by newguy99 »

Ok so I'm trying to add water to my map, but when I opened the kashyyyk REQ file to copy out the water script part I saw this! --REQN
{
"texture"
"platform=ps2"
"bla bla bla about water stuff etc..."
But wow look at that I have the pc version of game on my pc and it works fine and all, but why does it say ps2=play station 2!!!
Pleas help should I copy this or rippentucks water script from the "Star Wars Battlefront: Modder's Tutorial?

Edit: Wow sorry I guess I'm blind, right there half way down is the pc script :funny2: the others are just something else for ps2 and xbox, But are they important??

The ps2 and xbox platform blocks from any file are irrelevant for PC usage and can be safely omitted.

Ok cool! TY very much for the part about ps2 and xbox script being erelivent helped a lot so I know I can leave it out!

Edit:
I have another problem with the water tutorial in the Star Wars Battlefront: Modder's Tutorial. When I went to open my worlds ModID.fx or "FX" file to copy/paste in the water script stuff my map didn't have a "FX" file, why would this be? Should I make one?

Yes, you should create one or copy and edit an existing one -Staff
