Does terraincutter need to be child of dummyroot? [Solved]

I can't find the tut on this, and besides it's first post is probabbly gone anyway.

So I know a Terraincutter is a geometry, that must be named terraincutter, but what I don't remember is if it must be a child of the model.

Anyone remember?
