If u want to play online u got to register and if u wanna create then it says ur nickname is already in use, every nickname is in use!! I really tryed everything. Is this a problem in the game? Did more people had this?

I didn't have a problem with this, but then again, I registered for online play abotu a month ago.

Ok, when you're @ the screen with username and password, beneath it there is a button called "create new account". click there, and fill it in. And when it says register, don't worry, all it wants is nickname and password, not regestering the game. Hope this helps!

Thats not my problem, the problem is that really EVERY username is already in use! This is very odd, i even tryed all dutch names (thats where im from) and it wont work either!!

huh. That's strange. Did you try adding a couple of letters or symbols to your nickname or taking a couple away? That might help as well.

No signs in a name are not allowed, then it is not valid and it cant be to long and i cant add spaces and it just says everything is in use, my friends have this problem to.

^Destroyer^, have you tried to use random characters in your "nickname", so as to get one looking to "ABCDEF012345" or "A0B1C2D3E4F5" ?
(Thus, you will be able to check whether the problem you're currently facing is related to Star Wars : Empire At War itself, or to the "Online Playing" module...)

No that wont work either, numbers in the the name will give an error and all caps will give an error to i think, but i guess i know the problem maybe the're just limited users for eaw online play .

no I don't think it's that. What is your name for EAW that you want to use? Is it ^Destroyer^? Because at first I couldn't use Lead Pilot, because of the space, then I changed it to Lead_Pilot and it worked. Oh, and don't get dissapointed if it doesn't launch a multiplayer game, there are several multiplayer issues.

I did try ^Destroyer^ and it gave an error, then i tried Destroyer and it was in use, then i tryed maaaaaaaaaany other names and they where also in use. I think it's a multiplayer problem, and a big one cause my friends have this too

Are you really sure that none possible combination works properly, Destroyer' ? (Indeed, have you tried either "a0f9b5g1c2" or "9a5d6b4f1c", for sample ?)

Levaithan? Can u read, i said no signs in names work, it can't be to long, >>NUMBERS<< not allowed in a name, spaces not allowed, for the rest if i try its all in use.

In that case, I think that submitting a message to LucasArts "Technical Support Team" regarding this issue seems to be the most valuable choice you can currently make...

PS : Do you remember the exact characters' limit imposed while you're choosing a "nickname" for Star Wars : Empire At War ?

No i don't remember... i just typed a good name and then it was bit to long, but i don't know how much letters in the name allowed
