Will it be possible to cause (or stop) the forest fire ? (by using incendiary grenades or
orbital strikes)

I thought it was possible by making a new tree object that would have a fire effect when destroyed.

thats possible but there is a limited number of effects you can have at once and the same applies for destroyable object i suppose. also, the fire would jus6t be an effect and couldnt spread to other trees or damage things.

I think invisible barriers should be added to prevent soldiers from getting into the fire.
What would be better :invisible barriers or damage ?

my point: its not possible, you would need a barrier and a damageregion for every tree, plus you would need an impossible amount of paths of which each one needs to be activated/deactivated when a certain tree is on fire.

I know it is not possible ,I was talking about the fire Acryptozoo showed in the screenshot,

ah, well that makes sense.
do you plan to have some kind of mark where the fire is? like dark ground or burned wood.

A fire without burned ground wouldn't make sense.

yeah working on a burnt tree model
and no it cant be spread sadly
but i do got a new plant model

Very nice plant! BF2 can never have enough plant props. ;) Well, technically, it can't have enough of anything since tons of stuff is still coming out for it!

I love your models that you make. Never ceases to impress me. I guess I might just be easily impressed, though. ;) Great job, nonetheless!

UPDATE

I am working on Sharpening all the skins and effects for the mod. I will post an effect update tomorrow and an update on the Rebel Vanguard tonight. But now I present. (drumroll) the Imperial Stormtrooper.

Stormtrooper - Imperial - Regular


Imperial Stormtroopers are the Elite Marines of the Imperial Military. Designed to destroy Rebel sympathizers and crush the Rebellion wherever it may hide. Stormtroopers are armed with Blaster Rifles which fire quickly but have a very large spread. They are armed with pistols and Concussion Grenades. They are also armed with Heavy Thermal Detonators which are very hard to throw due to their weight but they deal a very high amount of damage.

I suggest not going overboard with that. It doesn't make SWBF2 anymore life-like than it already isn't.
