Hey guys
It is possible to change the respawn time?
from 15 seconds (or 16) to 10 or something like that.

Do you mean during online play? Because if you do, then I don't think you can change that, unless there is some sort of setting when you make a online game that I don't know of. Also, there isn't a spawn timer in single player but I really hope you know that already.

I'd like to point out the following:
And the reason is the following stipulation outlined in the EULA included with the mod tools:
(2) New Levels may not modify any COM, EXE, DLL or other executable files.

I'm curious to know how you guys classify that one as being illegal to do but have no problems in breaking other rules.
(4) New Levels may not include any LucasArts sound effects or music files or portions thereof.
I'm just saying you lot have already broken this one big time. What exactly is the difference between breaking the EXE one and breaking the sound one? Why is the EXE one so bad to break as long as you aren't removing the DRM is their any really problem? (And come on you guys use No-CD cracks
anyway.)

Because modifying the executable can lead to the ability to cheat/unfair gameplay in-game whereas using LucasArts sounds is only technically breaking copyright laws that everyone already breaks anyway whenever they listen to a song on YouTube (or whatever). Also, BattlefrontII.exe already doesn't require a disk to be mounted in order to run, so...

Well, I guess if those central, essential, and key files necessary for the game to even run were distributed publicly, then it would be possible for individuals to obtain the game for free by piecing its components together like a puzzle. And the majority of the other game files could be easily recreated/obtained by munging the source files included with the mod tools.

True, but it isn't endorsed by Gametoast.
(4) could possibly be referring to the distribution of the actual raw sound files, although I'm not too sure about that one.
