HOW to re-skin a unit?

OK i was following the TUT on satrnlab's web site every thing was going fine,till i got to the hex editing part

i'm am terrible at it!! is there a nother way to re-skin a unit?
without hex-editing? :evil: :evil:

by overwriting the existing units tga is the only other way .
but bear in ming that some units share tgas ... the stormtrooper shares with the imperial rocket guy.

can you create a new side? if you can ...all you do isd take the tga file from your sides msh folder and load it into say photoshop and reskin it ...and then pop it back into the msh

or use a file converter and convert the image to .jpeg and then edit it paint and then convert it back but also it might be advised to back up what you over write.

Yes, using BFBuilder PRO, or by copying all needed files and folders manually...
