I don't know about you guys, but I just want to see more of Delta Squad. I mean, all they got was like 10 seconds in one episode, if anything these guys deserve an entire episode all to themselves.
Maybe in Season 5, someday.

I can't wait to see the battle of Mon Calamari, we should see some unique fighting there. I'm also looking forward the evolution of the clone armor, and especially if fives ever makes an appearance. I wonder if he'll die like the rest of his squad. That'd be sad but at least they'd all be reunited. At any rate, I can't wait!
P.S. I wonder if Savage Opress will find maul this Season, it'd be amazing to see his return. :maulsaber:

Thats not offtopic and why would it be impossible to see them again in Season 4?

I don't want them to and I don't think they will bring Maul back, thats a huge stretch to bring a character back that clearly died in a movie.

Uh, Boba Fett. Enough said.

Boba Fett fell uninjured into a living pit armed to the teeth.
Darth Maul was sliced in half and fell a quarter mile into a reactor.
I am willing to believe Boba (while I don't like him), lived. Maul is a different story.

To clear that up, here is an excerpt from Wookieepedia.
Hidden/Spoiler:
But the Sarlacc could never hold Fett. After conversing with a fellow captive, the Choi known as Susejo, Fett discovered that this being was actually psychologically connected to the Sarlacc—and it was this advantage that he used to goad the creature into contracting around his jet pack, igniting the device and providing his means of escape, killing the Sarlacc in the process. The resulting explosion, combined with the beast's acidic stomach juices, left Fett on the verge of death. As he lay dying on the surface of Tatooine, his colleague Dengar was searching for anything valuable left from the explosion, but found Boba Fett instead, and nursed him back to health.

I don't believe what I'm hearing. Did you just say you don't like Boba Fett?!

I apologize for my mistake. Its not that I don't like Boba Fett. I hate Boba Fett. I hate Jango Fett. I hate pretty much every Mandalorian. Deal with it.
I realize that pretty much everyone on this site will hate me and want me to leave now.

Not that you're not entitled to your own opinion, but aren't you always bugging people to give Jar Jar Binks and Ewoks a chance? You pretty much are taking a hipster stance on the Boba Fett thing. "He's too mainstream, and his diehard fans are so annoying." ... Okay? So what? That has nothing to do with the character himself.
I'm not a big fan of the massive cult following he's gained because of a whole bunch of fanfictions, either, but there's truly no reason to HATE a character that says all of 4 lines in the entire OT. Dislike because he's a bad guy? Maybe. But then shouldn't you dislike IG-88, Bossk, Dengar, and 4-LOM as well?
tl;dr
How can you /hate/ Boba Fett with a cold and merciless passion when the character really didn't have that much of an impact on the saga?

I have no hope of trying to get people to like Jar-Jar, so I barely ever mention him. And I don't remember "always bugging people" to give them a chance.

I don't hate him for his fans, I hate his character, and more importantly the Mandalorian Culture and Society. And he did have an impact on the saga. He followed (taking the empire with him)and captured Han Solo, causing Luke to have to try and rescure him, losing his hand and his father's lightsaber (and that hand was used to create the "evil" clone of Luke in The Last Command). Then Lando, Leia, Luke, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C-3PO had to waste time and risk their lives to rescue Han from Jabba.
I don't like how popular he got just because he looked cool and had a jetpack, seems like a lame excuse to like a character. I also don't like Karen Traviss, she rage quit because George decided he wanted something different from what she wanted/created. Anyway. Boba Fett has no emotion, no character. He is just lifeless. Boring. He is a bad guy. The only thing I like about Boba Fett is that he did not rape Leia when he was given the chance(in Tales Of The Bounty Hunters). Speaking of which...
Twilight_Warrior wrote:But then shouldn't you dislike IG-88, Bossk, Dengar, and 4-LOM as well?
I hate Bossk with a passion as well. I don't hate IG-88 as much because he has an interesting character, and he is just using cold hard logic like Hal from 2001: A Space Oddesy, therefore he wasn't enjoying what he did, for he had no emotions. 4-Lom (and the unmentioned Zuckess) are not really bad guys, at least comparatively, and they even help the rebels. So I don't hate them, I actually like them. And I also like Dengar, his character is one you can pity and care about, and again, comparatively isn't that bad.

Talk about inconsistent logic...
Also, as for being able to pity Dengar but not Boba Fett - Boba was 10 years old when he watched his dad get beheaded. He then had to carry the dismembered body away and bury it on a foreign world. Then he had to cope with the fact that there were thousands, if not millions, of people in the galaxy who looked exactly like him. I don't care if you dislike a character, but poor arguments really bother me.
Anyway, going back a ways to the topic of Delta Squad and Savage Oppress:
I would enjoy seeing more of Delta Squad, and I imagine the show's developers would love to use the squad in an episode as well, considering that they already went through the trouble to create the models for the commandos. In regards to Savage Oppress, I wouldn't mind if that story arc was just dropped. If the show does bring back Darth Maul somehow, then fine, whatever - I stopped caring about whether the show was canon a long time ago, and I try to just enjoy it for what it is - but I cringe whenever I see the worst pun yet in movie/TV show names. Savage Oppress. Yikes.

IG-88 is a machine, there not capable of having emotions, Boba Fett is a human,a nd shows no emotion even though he is capable of them, Thats the difference.

I do feel sorry for Boba when his father died... somewhat. I also hated his dad Jango, another bad guy trying to kill Jedi. I don't root for people like that. Dengar however underwent brain surgery to remove almost all his ability to feel emotions, other than rage and hope.

Over there at LucasAnimations, they hate to make models and barely use them. They WILL use them again.

Same. I wasn't impressed by that story arc.

Dark Death Invader.
-ShadowPost
Update.
Its rumored that the premire date will be September 16. Plus, there is a lot of new info.
-The first 2 episodes will be The Battle of Dac(and Dac will now be properlly explained that it is the real name of the planet).
Dave Filoni wrote:Everyone likes Kit Fisto because he smiles. He doesn’t have his shirt on, so that’s a bit of a Twilight reference.
This is the first time Dave Filoni has actually upset me.
Moving on...
-There will be more Commandos, but not Delta Squad, for Filoni doesn't want to mess with their existing canon.
-Cad Bane, Bossk, and Boba Fett are back, and now Dengar too.(I hope Dengar isn't in his enhanced state yet, 3or another retcon will be needed).
Dave Filoni wrote:Wolffe returns but he’s different than Rex since he lost all his men so he’sa bit of a “curmudgeon” and doesn’t like C-3PO much.
Ok, I couldn't be happier with Wolffe returning, but whats this about him losing all his men? Yes he went an armor paint change when he lost almost all his men in Season 1 Episode 2, but he didn't lose ALL his men. And there has not been another Wolfpack trooper lost since then, so I don't know what he is talking about.
Long story short, I am very excited about the next season. You can read more HERE.
Does anyone know if the 2nd Airborne Company will be in Season 4 that would be cool.

I know this is kinda late, but uh, Darth Maul didn't die. He came to the Lar's actually and fought Obi-Wan and almost killed baby Luke. Luke's uncle actually killed Darth Maul with a blaster when Obi-Wan couldn't strike the killing blow. But anyway...Republic Commandos would be pretty awesome even if it wasn't Delta Squad, or even just 30 seconds of a RC squad in action would appease me. I just want to seem them in action rather then just standing and talking.
