What operating system have you got.Only get 4gb of ram if it is vista 64 bit if not your wasting your time
The 7950 card is miles better than the 8500 if it aint a 8800 series 8 card i would not bother.The 9 series is out soon and the 8800 will come down in price the best one is the 8800 gt for value for money but ATI are better value get this for a good gaming card http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... =V261-3852

BTW: I recently found out that the Geforce 8800 GT is very good for it's price.

Tip: Try to buy such a card from a guy who always wants the best of the best, that's a way to get such a card for less money.
