Playable RemoteDroid

Hi guys
I've tried to make a playable remotedroid and everytime i try to play him or shot at him the game crashes and if any bot plays him he couldnt move or shot . Is it possible to make him playable ??

Is the EntityDroid memory pool set to something other than 0?

is it a remote droid like the one in kotor?

If I'm not mistaken, units with the ClassLabel = "droid" can only be played by AI. I don't know why, but that's just how it is. That's why nobody's ever made a map with playable probe driods.
Try changing the ClassLabel in the odf to "trooper", see if that works.

You mean one on the spawn screen that doesn't need to be deployed? I've already made deployable R2D2s and imperial probe droids

Well, as I recall, someone made the gonk droid into a playable soldier, without editing the model.

Well, obviously the person who made it didn't keep it as the powerupstation classlabel, they swapped the geometry of a soldier.

Hmm can you tell me how i can make him on the ground because i could give him jetpack or force jump ... probably you could give me the odf ??

That was me. It worked "fine", but it had no animations at all, so it just slided around. And yeah, I gave it the soldierclasslaber, cause I couldn't spawn powerupstations
Here's the topic BTW. Basicly me messing around with stuff.
What Fred said all happened to that gonk aswell, it had no animations (not the sort that works on the soldierclass that is...), weird collision etc etc.
