Today i will teach you how to use my asset : Clone parts.
I will use the chest back skinning for this tut, and it works for GIMP and PS users.
Steeps:
1. Find the "backchest" file and paste it with GIMP/PS.
2. Find the "chestmark" file and open it.
3. Colour it as you like with the color balance tool, will chose blue for this tut.
4. Place the tga carefully over the chest.
5. Now to the back search the file "back", there is no need to be carefull here, those dots and lines are in the files too.
6. Colour that one too, and paste it over the other.
7. Search the all "backdot" tgas you can see and paste them, they are very tiny.
8. And then you have the back and chest ready, so paste it on a normal skin and it may lookm like this:
9. All the skins here work like that, of course, so if you keep skinning you may get this:
I dont know much about dirting but Icemember“s tutorial at Filefront explains that.

nice tut! I'm using this!
But I'd suggest pasting the tut from here to your readme to make it easier for users who want to be offline and still want to see the tut.
Wow, this makes skinning SO much easier!

Yup. These things are pretty easy to make, take almost no effort to do. I do commend the author for doing this, but its really only makes skinning slightly more complicated, having to open all of these up and place them, whereas you could just cut what you need out of the skin, copy it, and move it and save some time.
