Weapon CPs? - unsolved

Just an idea that I had...which I'll only be able to develop properly if there's a way to do this, so I figured might as well ask.
Is there a way (through ODFs, lua scripting, regions and/or whatever) to either:
(a) have a certain CP only let you spawn as only a certain unit from your team.
(b) make a CP respawn you when you enter it (ie when you switch class at a CP) automatically.
The idea behind this is to set up a way of having a single unit type with a whole bunch of different weapons - so that at each 'CP' your weapon gets switched to whatever the weapon of the unit allowed to spawn there uses. All units look the same so it looks like you just switched weapons.
If anyone can shed any light on this or has a better way of implementing this idea I'd be most grateful.
