I have a problem with the munger in my data_*** folder. Whenever I munge, It says: Munging addme.lua...done.
Copying files to Battlefront II directory:
"L:\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData"
Addon dir exists, continuing...
Creating mod dir "HAL" dir in addon dir...done.
Copying addme.script to mod dir...done
Copying "mission.lvl" to modDir\data\_LVL_PC\...done
Copying "core.lvl" to modDir\data\_LVL_PC\...done
Copying "HAL" to modDir\data\_LVL_PC\...done
Copying "SIDE" to modDir\data\_LVL_PC\...done
Munge process finished
\QuickTime\QTSystem\ was unexpected at this time.

The quicktime is new, but I once got it woking and now it doesnt work anymore. Any help?

EDIT: Weird...I just had Battlefront load without crashing. The level had odd symbols around it and of course it crashed. Any help?

What I posted ealier is the whole munging script, sadly.
sim-al2 wrote:Could you post the debug log please?
By debug log, do mean the notepad that comes up with errors and wranings? If so, none comes up.

Also, when I go into my addon folder and go into my ***, all it has is the addme.script and data and _LVL_PC folder. In the data_***, no _LVL_PC folder appears when I munge either.

That's the mungelog. The debug log is made ina different way.

In your Battlefront 2 modding tools folder there is an executable file named bf2modtools.exe. Copy that to your Battlefront 2 Game Data folder and run it it. IT will open a windowed version of BF2 with a green overlay over the top half of the screen. Run your map, then after it crashes (or you close it) there should be a file called BFront2.log. Open it in notepad, press Ctrl-A to select the whole thing and post it here. Message Severity: 3 usually causes a crash.

If you can't run the executable you can get a working version in the Everything You Need FAQ thread.

EDIT: Here's a link to save you having to find it yourself.

...Well, I cant run the BF2Modtools because I lost the cd. I run SWBF2 from the BattlefrontII application in gamedata folder. In the meanwhile, I'll try to find the disk.

EDIT: I downloaded the modtools and ran it. So far, I see no error log. All I got was a popup saying "Cannot open mission.lvl ...

EDIT#2: Scratch that...I ran the wrong thing.

EDIT#3 ...The last edit. Here it is:

Well that would indicate it isn't munging despite it's claims to the otherwise. Try closing and other applications and clean and munge (hopefully that might work). What OS do you have?

Edit: If that is all the stuff that was displayed in the window check to see if there's actually anything in the addon folder directory at all.

Whats an OS?

And yes, there is a folder in the addon folder but the only thing it has is the addme and two folders, no lvl files...no wonder it crashed!

This is what happens when I try to clean: Common\clean PC
Worlds\clean PC
The system cannot find the path specified.
Worlds\TTM\clean PC
The system cannot find the path specified.
Munge process finished

??? Odd. Now I munge and the same thing happens.

OS is an acronym for Operating System. :google: What version of Windows is running on your computer?

did you put it in the _build folder then make a new world and copy your scripts/sides/world1 folder in it?

Just trying to clear things up. Your build folder should look like this now with the mungefix.

Munging Problem! (Finally Solved!)

I have all of that, but it still doesnt make my world properly! Maybe I dont have the right munging files? ...Or is there more that I must fix?

EDIT: I can make my world properly and make a world, but I cant munge it. :( (Or atleast it doesnt munge correctly)

EDIT2
Finally, I did it. I discovered how to fix the windows vista munging error. I had to manually copy over the files and then it worked! Sadly, no one told me THAT. Thanks everyone!
