Spark used the "Far, far away" line again..

Just in case you missed it, they're talking about the 3D star wars original trilogy, since Ep1 comes in like a month and a half, that puts Ep2 next year, and Ep3 the year after. Episodes 4/5/6 would be 3, 4, and 5 years away, respectively, if everything goes according to schedule.

You silly people and getting your hopes up...

Ah my bad, I missed that. Someone mentioned It in a video, and I mistakenly took it from there.

I'm going to agree with Twilight here. Way too much fuss over way too little.

I do say though, Spark must be laughing it up about all the rumors.

If RC2 does turn out to be a third person action/adventure game, then that could be the case.

I really hope for the sake of whatever game they're making that their grammar isn't that bad.

Thought this was (semi) relevant.

As the skeptic that I am, I'm inclined to believe Spark just ignored the #hashtag.

This is the only page I will look at for info on SWBF3. http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swbattlefrontiii/
And yes. That would be a 404 error.

I think that battlefront3.net is just a bunch of overzealous, speculative fanboys who copy+paste entire pages of "battlefront iii" search results onto their webpage, whether it is relevant or not.

I must admit, it seems very suspicious that Spark was in having "lunch with their publisher" not too far from Lucasfilm, and then went to the game-developer's meeting at the lounge with Lucasarts.

@Cerfon, I didn't know you watch Tuggie!?

Any other devs/publishers in the area?

Double Fine (Also in San Francisco)
Electronic Arts (Redwood City is 35 mins out of San Francisco)
Telltale Games (San Rafael, also 35 minutes out)
Zynga (Also San Francisco)

And those are just the big name ones. There are also plenty of other publishers in California, but most of them are about 6 hours south of San Francisco.

You must of misunderstood me. I did not ask for your thoughts of the website, I asked for your thoughts on the article.
It is very interesting that the guys at Spark were going to the Infusion Lounge around the exact same time that Lucasarts was hosting a GDC at the same place.

@Impetus: Many people are saying that this game may not be BF3 and indeed could be something else.(There were a few Star Wars Third person shooters released.) Notice how I never brought up BF3 speculation in this topic?

You must of misunderstood me. I was giving you my thoughts on the "article." You linked us to a forum post, far from a legitimate news article. Everyone on that site take pieces of information and FORCES them into being evidence for SWBF3. Their judgement is clouded by hopes and dreams. They can't see other possibilities. For example, the other major Game Developers/Producers in the San Francisco area I listed in my previous post. And who's to say they were the only developer at LucasArt's GAME DEVELOPERS CONFERENCE party?

I'm not saying it's NOT SWBF3. I would love for it to be. But I'm way past taking things at face value until LucasArts specifically comes forth and announces the game.
