Collision Geometry Crashing

Okay so I tried to hex edit a .msh and everything was fine until I munged. When I munged it said that the engineer was missing collision geometry so it would use regular geometry. I finished munging and forgot about it. Then when I ran the game and did the clone wars era. The reason it crashed was because the engineer had no geometry. Can someone please help me, I've tried everything I can think of but nothing is working. I think it has something to do with the .msh but I don't know.

the collision geometry is just a warning and does not matter, your problem is elsewhere. What did you hex edit, becasue I believe the edited .msh has to have the same number of character which means no adding letters/numbers, only replacing the existing ones, and I think notepad doesnt work if thats what you used

@ 1st Question: I was hex editing a cape

@ 2nd Question: I used PSPad

The collision geometry is a severity 3 and it's the only valid error that I could see.

Does the geometry name you called in the .odf match the (presumably newly-named) geometry you hexedited?

I didn't edit any of the ODFs, I just edited the .msh.

I;m pretty sure that you need to edit the odf so that the kama is in the trooper's odf somewhere. Don't ask me where, I haven't opened in odf in a few months.

Since it crashed I overwrote both the ODF and .msh with the originals but it still crashes. I have no idea what I did wrong.

You have to do a clean if you are replacing modified files with original ones. Visual munge goes by date to see if it needs to include it in the munge and since the original files are older than the ones modified they get ignored, doing a clean will make VM include them and that should stop the crash.
