CLICKY -- all Halo Reach ranks and the points required.
Oh, and buy the way I'm not even a Warrant Officer yet, so don't feel bad Nova.

Ok, thanks Tean.
@Fusion: If we can't add you as friend (and I don't even know your GT), then how are we supposed to download all the cool maps that you've created?

Links through Bungie.net.

So, Forgetacular contest seems like it'd be worthwhile, unlike the Noble Team mappack. 800msp for 3 maps that don't bring anything interesting to the table but new achievements? Yeah, right. Maybe if it brought Forge City and civvie vehicles in MP, sure. But 3 relatively unimpressive looking maps don't seem worth 800msp. Of course, it's Bungie. They know what they're doing, so they'll probably be better than every stock map besides Forge World.

Forge City???

Nice idea a few of the B.net forum members came up with. Forge World with a city pallet that has built-in remakes of Headlong, Turf, and Longshore to name a few.
There's been no word on if it will actually happen, but it's possible. Personally, I'd prefer a Forge Map Pack with Forge City, Forge Moon (Covenant themed, comes with remakes of Snowbound, Midship, Gemini, and Avalanche), and Sandvil (Based on Sandtrap and Sandbox pallets, two craters with the dimensions of Sandtrap and Sandbox, maybe a third with Relic).

The Noble Map Pack trailer came out today, and I must say, I am impressed. Not only does Breakpoint look even better than Boneyard or Spire, but Tempest seems to be sort of like an addition to Forge World with its object palette, and Anchor 9 definitely seems to be the most impressive of them all. It looks like a very well-done cross of Zealot and Orbital from 3, with a little bit Hang 'Em High in there (random blocks on the ground). Too bad it's 800 MSP, I already owe my parents $30 and then I've got to renew live and get Fable 3 and Brotherhood by November 30th.

Level cap is now removed - the full armory is now accessible. Good news for some, but I haven't played Reach in about 3-4 weeks, and am only a Warrant Officer Grade 1

Pretty cool, I'm 3/4's the way to Captain Grade 2.
I had an odd encounter last night when I was playing on Paradiso. A Warthog spawned but it had no turret. I'm not kidding, weirdest thing I've ever encountered. Has anyone else encountered this before? Has Bungie finally included the civilian warthog or was it some weird spawning error that I got last night?

Probably just a glitch. I've never played Halo: Reach before, but one can assume it's a glitched 'hog. This is a bit off topic, but, when a player dies, do they die in only specific poses like in the SWBF series, or is it a comedic physics playground when a player dies?

Depends on how they get killed. If it's just weak rifle shots, they'll just stop and fall to the ground in different ways. If they get blown up with a rocket, they'll go flying, sometimes landing like this:

My reason to ask the question is because when I saw a clip of gameplay from Halo: CE, whenever a player died, they'd end up in the same pose, no matter what. So, bottomline, in Reach, their bodies react to physics... Anyways, back on Nova Hawk's question: If there was a "transport" Hornet in Halo 3's Avalanche, why not have a modified Warthog? However, there have been times in Forge where items spawn without turrets, usually caused by lag, overloading, etc. Also, it is possible to remove the turrets on Falcons on Forge. However, when you remove the turrets, the positions are unusable, and only affects the Falcon once. So, when it spawns in a new match, the turrets will be present. So, I might conclude that it was probably a lag-induced glitch, like corpse respawn. But, before I can absolutely make that conclusion, how many players were in your match?

I was doing Big Team Battle on Paradiso so I'd say 32 players in all.

Make that 16. Big Team Battle has two teams of 8.

Ugh I feel like Reach is such a grinder, only in this case only for armor...I think I may be moving to Black Ops soon lol

Ok, I thought that 32 sounded a bit of an overkill.
Btw, have any of you guys been watching Fails of the Weak or Best 10 Kills? They are awesome. They're hosted by the guys who voice Church and Griff in Red vs Blue and dude, I tell ya whenever the guy for Griff laughs, it always makes me laugh too.

I wish I could say the armor gets cheaper, but it doesn't. My Pilot helmet started at 90000 cR, then the upgrade was 30000, and the final upgrade is 55000. Yay for 175000 cR! >.>

I have the money to buy a 360. Is it worth it for just Reach?

Meh, not alone - but if you're talking about picking up another on-disc title or two or picking up a few great Xbox Live Arcade games it definitely is.
