I would at least consider releasing it over at ModDB, that way you can direct people there and at the same time control what kind of content is on your page for it. It's obviously your call, but I think this mod deserves a lot more popularity than a GT-only release would give it. (Heck, were it to be released on BFFiles you could just ask us to keep the posting thread question-free. I don't mind deleting posts or removing dumb ratings. You'll notice that the 1.75 conversion pack now has a stunning rating of 11 after 247 votes. )

I had to look at that myself  Anyway, I agree with Maveritchell, it is a mod that should be uplifted. I personally don't mind giving people directions on how to install mods and whatever else. I just got an email the other day from someone off of SWBattlefrontFiles asking me how to install the BFX mod because he said he knew I made a mod (don't ask me where that came from because I haven't released any mods that I have made because I deleted them before I got fast enough internet to upload them  but I guess he meant from my other files). I wrote him back a detailed email on how to install it and he got it to work! I think if you have a Readme that explains how to install, you can just tell them to "Read the Readme!" and leave it at that. If they rate it low than Mav can always change ratings delete the comments or whatever it takes but I think it should get more than just GT

Agree.

I think that at the least the final should be sent to SWBFfiles.

ModDB is a really good idea, as I think it would be fun to submit it for Mod Of The Year. It wouldn't come close to winning, but it would be fun to have it in the running.

SWBFfiles is still on my poop list. Not for the staff, but due to the fact that I think a lot of the users don't respect hard work and refuse to read directions. We'll see what happens in the end, but for now I'm still voting a No on sites other than Gametoast (and ModDB)

Are you joking? This is a very highly ranked mod. I would beleive that a lot of people would want this for there old SWBF2 game!

For what you have done with the games engine (compared to other games), then i would say that you have done a fantastic job.

Well done Tean' forget what the n00bs at SWBF2files say (not the staff), you know you have done a great job and so do we! This is continuously gaining more and more members and publicity!

Okay gang, check Classic Conquest off the to-do list. Aside from a few small bugs, it's done :music:

Check 'missing modes' off the to-do list. Turned out I had one little spelling error that was causing some new modes not to show up. I have tested all of them to make sure they're working.

Tonight I'll upload the current buglist if you want to take a look at it. It doesn't cover KotOR bugs since Mav's awesome KotOR era will replace the current KotOR stuff.

Yep, now it's back to fixing bugs (mostly side related) and getting Hero CTF running. I'm waiting to implement sound until near-last so we have all the vehicles and units finalized.

Okay, I must admit, I've never been a big fan of the Convo. Pack. But now, I'm excited! :D

Just sort of an idea, but could you change the color of the Convo. Pack maps to a diffrent color than the other mod maps? That would benefit lots of people on multiplayer, for example, who wanted to make Convo. Pack servers.

And about the GT only thing, I'm kind of even both sides. If it's a GT only exclusive, we get more people to our site (hopefully dedicated people who want to learn how to install it, and not just n00bs) But if we put it on SWBFFiles, Mav or a staff member can just disable comments, voting, and all that other stuff. So, either way...

I just realized I've been using pronouns like we or us. I ment you, but we're a community here, right? :)

Finished Bossk and several HUD issues last night. The buglist is now online so be sure to watch that thread for those sorts of updates.

Just a note, you may want to darken the texture on the Stouker, I designed it to look good in Max but the lighting in swbf2 makes it seems much lighter than it did in 3ds Max.

I've got one last request for any of you XSI junkies out there. Can anyone convert Desann for me? I need another IMP jedi, and he'd work great since he's already built and open-source.

Oh, and if anyone's feeling froggy it'd be nice to get a redone Lando Calrisian from JO.

A fair reskin of Han would make a good Lando too.

Dunno about that. What's wrong with the current Lando port? (didn't play as him for like a year so I dunno anymore...)

He's just really lowrez. Some of it's the textures, but not all of it. I can't remember who rigged him up the first time, but they didn't know you didn't have to re-UV map the whole model, so they changed the map and somehow lost the quality.

Just wanted to let you all know I'm still working on this. We just moved on June 1 back to Indianapolis and we haven't got our DSL hooked up at home yet (it'll be up on Thursday). So in the meantime I've done a few little fixes, but have mostly been playing Deus Ex: Invisible War, which I just beat with all possible endings. Fun game.

On a SWBF related note, RepSharpShooter is gonna lend a hand with updating the clone legions to have the 1.2 patch weapons and whatnot so everything matches.

@ Rep -- I forgot to bring the files from home to upload today. I'll get them to you soon.
