oh and did you fox the area under the map?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is fox?
RED51 wrote:I would suggest replacing the current chain gun with a more reasonable model, like one of the under hand ones. Also, did you put in some tanks for the attackers? I wouldn't suggest putting in some of the command walkers since they move very slowly, and would be easy targets for the turrets. Other then that nice update!
No vehicles will be in this map, the stock vehicles just wouldn't do and it would take far too long to create new ones, also I don't find a need for vehicles nor would it fit in the storyline which (although for this particular map is not much of a spoiler) I will keep a secret for now. Although I will probably include vehicles in my next map which will most likely be on the same planet.

Oh, also, what vehicles did you have in mind if you felt stock ones wouldn't do?

Oh sorry I guess I wasn't clear on that, I meant the stock ones didnt have weapons that would fit in well with the sides I have, I'd have to do almost as much work as I had to to make the sides and I had started making those long before I made this map.
And yes I did fix the ability to go off the map, there is invisible collision all over preventing the player from leaving now.

Well, you see ... Fox COULD theoretically refer to the news channel of FOX or, perhaps, "20th Century Fox". There is also the possibility that he maybe referring to the fluffy animal equivalent of 'fox', which is a common name for many species of carnivorous mammals belonging to the Canidae family.
But jokes aside, this looks like it's coming along great, bobfinkl. Keep up the great work!

Fixed.
Anyway looks good, except the ice in the hangar. Not a fan of the stock yavin models or the rock texture you've used in the hangar either, but that's just me.
Is the water texture animated at all?

While it may make them out of place, skin them Yavin props to some other hue. I think a orangish hue with the moss still on them might be good.

The ice, will be removed at some point but I personally never really notice it, it's just one of the few things I don't see or care about. The stock yavin models, I would use better ones but there's no other models to replace them, as for the rock texture I made that some time ago and I'm delayed enough with Warlord28's ripped models as-is.
As for the water, yes and no, the texture isn't animated I couldn't figure that out, instead the model is animated, here is a short video of the water:

Personally I'd think adding more contrast to them would do far better, but as I said before I'm delayed enough with Warlord28's ripped models.
