Ship geometry orientation [Solved]

I created a msh called "stm_fly_fighter".
Then I called in my ship's odf.
I also called the Anikanstarfighter animations.
However, ingame, my ship was backwards.
Should this be fixed by rotation of the model or is it determined by the animations?
The reason I'm asking instead of just rotating is because my msh is a long process to convert from my modeling program.

I'm not entirely sure about this but in some modeling programs you have to have the model facing a certain way so it comes out right ingame... I say rotate it like you said to fix the problem.

I rotated the model and it is still backwards.

What program are you using to do your modelling?
If it is not XSI does it have an equivalent Freeze Transforms function?
If it does freeze all the transforms and try re-exporting.

I solved the problem by rotating the model again.
