Move up and down the blue axis on a laptop?

Post by SG-17 »

Even though I have a scroller on the side of my mousepad, ZeroEditor isn't recognizing it as the middle mouse button, therefore I can't move objects up and down. Is there anyway around this besides going out and buying an USB mouse?

You can manually set the height using the height properties, found on the box on the left.

You should be able to access the touch-pad properties. If you look around there, most have the ability to set how to trigger a middle mouse button click.

I have the same problem. fortunately, we have a bunch of leftover mice at our house so I just use one of those if I have to move something that doesn't have a height parameter. Now for rotation, you can actually use the other two axes to do the same thing, if you do it right.
