Whenever I try to open-up BF2_modtools.exe, I keep getting a "Please insert CD 1" message, even though the CD is in the computer. I've run it from the modtools directory and the BF2 directories. No luck.
I've tried googling this and searching here, but for some reason I can't find a solution.

You want this one which does not require a disk: BF2_modtools_NoDVD.exe

It sounds like you have the DVD version of SWBF2, if this is the case you will need to use the modified BF2_modtools.exe, but for it to work it must be run from the correct location.
