Oversized rifle now invisible

Ok, so I downloaded the fixed version of the JKA Model Converted By: Parchida Wazmol69 and Rekubot.

But is huge! Take a look at the pic:

Is there a way to fix this? Because it worked with another map..

In the weapon odf, add a line called :


GeometryScale = 0.5

Then in the msh option (whatever_the_rifleiscalled.msh.option) and after all the text, add

-scale 0.5




0.5 is half, so that would be right. I think this workes, please try!

Um, option? the rifle came with a .msh, no .msh.option does it count the same?

Uhm...mayve just open notepad, write down:


-scale 0.5


and save as 'mshname'.msh.option Don't forget to add line in odf as well, just give this a try once ;)

Are you sure it option has the correct name, and the odf has the correct line? Because for some reason i do not understand why it won't work! Also you could ask wazmol, just pm him

Okay, that has never happened to me in some sort of strange way... I scale everything! This is the point where scaling with this manner ruins my thrust :sick:


But wazmol is right, just try Rekubot and he'll have some sort of solution ;)


Edit/Add: Btw, the rifle it is now (huge) would make some sort of great rocket launcher i guess!!! :P ;)

the msh.option method should work, you must be doing something wrong

The_Emperor; je hebt helemaal gelijk gast!! Okay sorry i just know he's dutch :P I mean he's right. Make sure you have a weapon msh called ".....".msh and then the option file should be "......msh" Make sure the GeometryScale line is under the GeometryName part in the odf

I'm really sorry but you MUST do something wrong. Search for a topic in which Caleb explains me how it works... It's about a Ki Adi Mundi msh i thought... There it's more descriptive

Odd.. Post the msh.option and the odf. I won't reply though, Imma get some sleep :P Early train to catch tomorrow.
